Motorola's Moto E is getting old in smartphone terms, which of course means that it is due to be replaced with a newer model. The budget handset is still selling well in emerging markets where it is popular, but Motorola has been long rumored to be working on a second generation Moto E. Android Police has now revealed two renders of the Moto E 2, and it looks as though the company has not strayed too far away from the original.

The Moto E 2 is said to have much of the same specs as the older model, except it may have LTE on board. Other specs will include a 4.3-inch screen, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 with 1GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel rear camera, 4GB of on board storage, and a micro SD card slot to expand the storage space.
