Hello China, Say Motorola with the Moto X

moto x verizon Hello China, Say Motorola with the Moto X

Motorola revealed a couple of weeks ago on its website earlier this month that the company is making a comeback in the Chinese market. The devices being launched were confirmed as the Moto X Pro (essentially the Nexus 6 in all but name), the Moto X, Moto G LTE. The company has now but the extra official seal on the announcement with an event in China to launch the handsets.

Motorola President and COO Rick Osterloh hosted the event that was called Hello China. He made the rather audacious claim that the Moto X is the best Android smartphone in the world, while he said it will be the first handset to arrive in China, available from early February and costing 2,999 CNY ($479).

On top of that, the Moto X Pro and Moto G LTE will follow later during the month, although no price details have been given. Motorola will even rbing the Moto Maker pre-purchase design suite to the country; that will land “in the coming months”. Motorola also announced the Moto 360 smartwatch is Chinese bound, but neglected to say when.
