Onda Air Copies iPad Air but has Android/Windows 8.1 Dual Boot OS

page onda h1 Onda Air Copies iPad Air but has Android/Windows 8.1 Dual Boot OS

Apple's iPad Air 2 is a very good tablet, the best of the best in fact, and I can say that as a fan of Android smartphones. However, the Air 2 sets the benchmark in style and overall quality and functionality, but there are some things it does not do. Neither Apple’s iOS nor Google’s Android will run full blown PC apps, but slates running Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 will.

If only there was a slate that looked like the iPad, had the functionality of Android, and the productivity anything goes nature of Windows. Well, there actually is, the Onda V919 3G Air. Oh no, this is a Chinese copy, and it is, but on closer look it may actually be quite decent.

The 3G version costs just $193, has 64GB of storage and here's the kicker, it can dual boot Android 4.4 KitKat or Windows 8.1 with just the press of a button. I would instantly trash these kinds of products instantly as soon as they land in my inbox, but the Onda has the hook that I think is worth checking out. I am trying to get my hands on one to see how it manages those multiple operating systems.
