The Asus ZenFone 2 is a very good smartphone and is one of the early surprises of the year with its tasteful aesthetic, good specs, and affordable $199 price. Asus actually launched three different versions of the device, and the two higher end units first seen at CES last month have now been given prices.
We already knew about the $199 model that comes with a 5-inch 720p screen, but there was also a better 5.5-inch version with 1080p Full HD resolution. That handset has now been revealed to cost $299, $100 more than the 720p smaller unit, but still a steal considering the hardware. Both devices get a 64-bit Intel processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel snapper, and a 3000mAh juicer.
Asus also revealed that there would be a 4GB RAM version when the ZenFone 2 was launched in January. The company has now revealed that it will cost $439, still not bad for what is a flagship bothering piece of kit.
