The LG G4 flagship is a stellar smartphone, one of the very best handsets on the market. The problem for the South Korean company is that the device is not selling as much as the G3 did last year. To try and drum up some interest in the United States, LG is holding a new promotion throughout the entire month of June.
It is worth stressing again that this promotion is for consumers in the United States only and for those buying the G4 through AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, Best Buy, or Amazon.com. If a consumer buys the G4 through this month from any of those outlets, LG will give away a free leather rear plate, a new battery, and a charging cradle.
It is a solid deal that really brings to the fore the G4’s unique selling points, its swappable back plate for customization, and its changeable battery (a sought after feature these days). Customers can choose between five leather cover choices, although LG’s press release suggests the offer is only open to those purchasing a leather G4 in the first place and not the plastic one.
