Motorola has wowed with its budget handsets over the last few years, such as the Moto G and the Moto E. The company has enjoyed a consistent presence in emerging markets, and arguably the biggest of those markets has brought Motorola success. The American brand announced that it shifted 3 million smartphones in India since February 2014.
The Economic Times is reporting that Motorola’s Moto G and Moto E are selling well in India, making the company the fifth largest manufacturer in the country last year. Motorola is still behind Samsung in number one and local companies Micromax, Lava, and Karbonn.
