LG’s Smart Notice is a nice idea that for the most part is badly executed because it never quite works how it should. LG has stuck with it though and the widget has been available on all the company’s smartphones over recent years. However, it seems at some point the frustrating software was actually flat out dangerous.
The widget was lacking a feature that checked security when passing new contact information to a LG G3, the company’s 2014 flagship. It seems the problem was unique to that particular handset, and as you may has noticed we have been writing in past tense. Yes, that’s because LG says it has already solved this problem in a previous patch.
